Cat 3412 engine
| Peter Buckley | Hi, Please explain to me so I can pass on the info "Why it is imperative never to refit the old radiator when installing a new industrial Cat 3412 engine". Regards, Peter. |
| Lew | Peter: This is a high performance engine. After several hours of operation the radiator will plug up on the inside. If the top of the radiator is removed one can see the tubes most likely be pluged. This subtance comes from the al in the engine and some of the iron. Important use CAT premixed coolant in this unit or a good coolant and distilled water only. Lew |
