Suspect an underfuelling problem on our D8H 46A, I want to check the fuel pressure from injection pump to fuel injector. Anyone have the pressure specs for this?

if the nozzle is the possible problem, pull them out of the head and take them to the dealer. they can test them easy. 450 to 750 psi. like no less than 575 psi myself.

thanks for the spec on the injectors catmech! hope to find specs on the pump pressure too.

transfer pump pressure about 35 psi. nozzle pop pressure 450-750 psi.

Would anyone tell me about timing the injector pump on a cat 518 3304? I am having the pump rebuilt and it will come back with the timing lock installed on the pump. Can I check both valves closed on #1 and then is there a timing mark on the pump drive gear? How can I turn the engine over without the starter? This was taken apart by another party and I am just trying to get it back together. Can I get a parts breakdown of this unit?
