starting 1948 d8

glenn i purchased a 1948 d8 thats been sitting for 7 years. it was running when parked. i don't know a thing about starting it. it has electric start for the pony motor. anyone got any tips or thoughts on this. thanks

Check on the rear housing on left side you should have the serie number and hover the poney transmission.
