d6 year and clutch adjustment
| ron fannin | I recently purchased a d6 (serial number 53r5345). it had set for 6 years and got it running but when i engaged the clutch (dry clutch) it tried to pull but would only move a few feet and start slipping. only adjustment i found was on the linkage and upon adjusting it out, the tractor pulled better but still not good. i can't adjust it anymore on the linkage or the clutch brake won't function. my question is, is there an adjustment on the clutch and does anyone know what year i've got, thx for any help

| ron fannin | sorry, i listed the serial number wrong. it is 5R5345, thx

| hector gemme | You need to loose the bolt on the collar adjustement(6b9189) and and turne the collar in cluck wise until you found a good click on your cluch lever . |
| ron fannin | thx for the reply hector, i was worried there wasn't any other adjustment. where is the collar adjustment located or how can i identify it, thx again for ur help, i have a repair manual ordered but i just need to get it pulling to get it loaded and get it home.

| hector gemme | The collar is just being the plate brake cluch and has the 3 cam on who are pushing on plate cluch. |
