case 530 draftomatic w/backhoe
|R Scott||Ineed to know what type of fluid to put in tranny
|scott||I use dextron 3 and it works well.
|Bill Johnson||I'd like to see a photo or drawing of this set up. I have a 530CK (about 1965) and am considering adding a draft-o-matic from a 541 I purchased. I am not sure the back-hoe will go back on once the draft-o is inplace.
|Mike||use case TCH for everything on the 530ck except engine, that is, torque converter, tranny, hydraulics. there are some non-case equivalents to TCH.. you can look up Case's spec. number for TCh and then match to the bucket of stuff at your local parts store. By the way, HyTran and TCH are not the same thing. I'm told that dextron will work in a pinch, but it doesn't have the same additives and capabilities as TCH
