'36 Case C lubrication

Gary Mantei Tractor now running after years of sitting. Checked lubricant in engine and Diff. Appears the same reservoir serves both rear end and trans. Correct?
140weight lube?
What are the fine-threaded, 1" (or so) caps used for at each side of the rear axle? There is a dry, gear-clunking sound in the rear axle. How is that lubricated other than the plug on rear of 3rd member?
Is there any relatively easy inspection of the final drive? Chain I think.

Gary Mantei It looks like this information was deleted:
It's a '36 Case Model C
