Case tractor id

R.W.STONE A friend of mine has what he believes is a 1939Case tractor serial# 4600942SC and casting#ofS6SOA. I need to know if this tractor is a DC. I think this tractor is an SC, which wasn`t produced until 1941. The picture of my friend`s tractor shows the grill of an SC with the CASE name above and the rear fenders more straight than cupped. My friend is getting this tractor sandblasted and re-painted in Jan. `04 so I need to know as soon as possible. Also need to know the paint codes for the tractor of this serial number. Thanks for any and all help.
Roger On the older tractors with a 7 digit number, use the first 2 digits and subtract 4, so this is a 1942 SC. on ones with a 6 digit number (before 1938) use the first & fourth digits then subtract 3.
