1845 uniloader steering noise

Kent Kroft Just acquired mid-1980, 1055hr with exceptionaly noisy steering both left & right, backward & forward, it moans & groans but functions OK. Is difficult to keep neutral adjusted. Oil & filters changed 45hrs ago. Loader controls OK. Any Suggestions??
R mullin Remove side access covers between wheels there are chain tensioners that my be worn or need to be manually adjusted . I just did it on my 1745 and now shes quiet instead of that noisy chatter. PS check hydrolic/tran fluid and add as necessary while covers are off.

They like to fun full throtle for one thing.
The slower the noisier, due to the piston pump drives.
A lot of the noise comes from the loose linkage attached to the levers.
I plan to do an over haul on mine this winter.Princess Auto sels cheap bearings for the end of the main shaft and I may drill out the linkages to a size bigger to fit new pins.

The linkage from the spring centering unit to the drive pump is possibly loose or worn causing the control to float one way or the other without moving the springs.Or you aren't adjusting the springs properly.
