Case 430 1965 front axle left side bearings

Barney-w Gentlemen We have secured bearings, cones, and grease seal. We need directions on how the seal fits. The seal has a rubber lip that faces to one side - does this lip go against the bearing - cone or does it fit facing the raised portion of the axle? Any help would be appreciated. My Case manuals could not give me any advise on this problem. Have a great safe day.
AJ The lip faces the bearing.
