Case 1537 uniloader clutch adjustment
| Jim | Could someone advise me how to adjust the steering clutches on 1537 Uniloader? I know where the adjusters and locknuts are but which way and how much is my question.
|
| Lee | I have the 1700 series skidsteer but from the diagram they are the same. When u engage the clutch, there are two horizontal lines on the two housings that should line up when engaged. for the big nut to tighten the plates, I round up 1 notch toward "extra tight" to compensate future wear. email me and i can send u a PDF of the manual section. |
