Old David Brown identification help needed, please !
| Hans Pelmo | Good day, I have an old David Brown tractor I cannot clearly identify. Previous owner built in from 2 different machines. Front seems like a 950 (little square bumper extending out of grill, caracteristic fuel filters). But the rear, I have no clue ! I ordered the 850,880,950,990 service manual but tractor does not correspond totaly. Front yes , back not really, close but not same. For example, my hydraulic oil filter is rectangular (round according to manual) ! All tractors I find on the case website have round hydraulic filters/strainers (on bottom of pan). Cover is also rectangular. You can find photos here: http://hanspelmo.freehostia.com/Index.html Please help ! Thank you |
| AJ | Look on the chassis on the right side of the engine about under the generator the serial number should be stamped there. AJ |
