580K Phase3 wiring
| James | Plain jane - rops top - no options. All instrument fuctions finally quit after a period of intermitent function. So someone had been into the fuse blocks before. The fuse blocks were shot. Corrosion - loose wires - etc. So i get a new fuse block. Cut the old ones out and am now attempting to rewire. The manual mentions a fuse block but does not show one or one wired in the schematics. Mine had about 12 fuses but going thru. The schematics i an only find about 5 fused items. Anyone know the color codes in and out of fuse blocks. Got a good picture of one wired up correctly? Thanks |
| bob dorazio | Have a series 1 with open rops and found I needed a new fuse block (not avail from Case but found exact item via an auto electrical shop. My manual gave the schematic and showed the locations of the fuses. I agree there are fewer circuits to place fuses in if you have no A/C, no heater, no cold start, etc. Mine has lites front and rear, and aux lites (eight total - very nice for those short days in winter). I soldered all the connections (much easier if the seat is out and put planking at same plane as tractor deck). Then all the connectors were coated with NOx'd and inserted into the box and the fuses also NOx'd. I cant readily take a picture unless I pull the fender plastic cover or do you just want the layout of the fuse box (arrangement drawing)? |
