Case loader hydraulics jerk while raising
| M Schramm | I have a Case JX55 with a LX132 loader. The loader jerks while raising the bucket as if starved for fluid. Worked fine until a short time ago. Changed hydraulic filter twice within the past week. Trans hydraulic fluid level is at Max level. Tractor only has 180 hrs and in service for about 2 1/2 years. Any ideas?

| AJ | Would not know your tractor if I was looking at as it is contruction machines I deal with,I had a look at the online parts layout for your tractor and I see that the pump is mounted with the filter top bolted directly to the pump,a suction line goes back to the transmission, check that line is not drawing air or the rubber hose is not damaged, there is a hose at the filter with screw clips and another at the other end,the tube itself could be letting air in if it has been rubbing on anything. Good Luck AJ |
| M Schramm | Thanks AJ. There are two hose clamps on that short section of rubber hose on the suction line. Before my original posting, I saw one was leaking fluid and I tightened it and checked the other also. This may have been part of the problem but it still jerks a little. After reading your comments, I'll further check out those suction lines from end to end. What you say makes sense and may lead to the solution. Thanks.

| AJ | Had another thought about the hydraulic filter,if you got yours from Case IH ignore this, the hydraulic filter on most things has the oil pushed through them by the pump, your tractor pulls the oil through the filter and it would be important that the media is the correct type because it would not be as fine as a pressure fed one,the Case IH part # is 1931127,there is a breather on the tranny that may need cleaning Good luck AJ |
| Juan | Look, make a hydraulic test oil pressure If is minimun 2000psi resiting te valve control pressure in the front valve bank at a pressure @2500psi2800 |
