580k exhuast manifold bolts
| greg | I nned to replace the exhuast manifold on a 580k. I looked at the bolts that hold the manifold on and they are rusty and look weak. What might be the best way to proceed with out breaking these long thin bolts?

| AJ | They do break but are usually long enough to get an extractor on,a good peneratrating oil will help, they are torqued to about 32 Lb Ft,each one is different depending on how thin they gone. Good luck AJ |
| matthew Aubele | I jsut did the same thing. My bolt heads were complteley rusted and i could not get a wrench on any of them. I cut the heads off with a cutting wheel, pulled the manifold off and let some PB blaster on there for about 15 mins. Every bolt came out with a pair of vise grips with little effort.
