Lights going dull at times

Peter Reilly Hello, again, rememer, last time i had a problem with a DB 1190,idling irregular, well,i kept air-locking and worse it got, well i brought it to my local mechanic to get it sorted out,the 2 diesel tanks are under the floor, well there's a big pipeat the bottom, joining the tanks, which was clogged with dirt and plenty of it too,i got the tanks cleaned out and a new lift pump fitted as it needed replacement, when i'd push down the accelerator pedal, you'd see a swirl of ir going around in the glass jar, well all's srted out and the tractor is going like a clock!.But i have 2 other problems,i want sorted out,i'll start with thisone first, when i'mdriving this same tractor (DB 1190) at night, sometimes the lights go dull, all of them, including the dash lights, then they'd come back nornmal again, this would go on at irregular intervils,& yes,the batery termls are ight and,i got the alternator checkedout & it's ok,hats wg do you?

David Johnson Check all of your ground connections and clean them. Make sure they are tight when you put them back together.
Peter Reilly I have one other problem with this DB 1190,there's a bit of an oil leak from the back end, when theres an implement on the tractor and when the tractor is moved there's a little oil patch on the ground, even when the tractor is parked up,i find a little oil patch on the ground,i tried looking, but i can't seem to pinpoint exactly where the oil leak is,can anyone shed any light on the problem and how to cure it.
