John Deere Gears
I have a 1952 John Deere Model AR tractor. The clutch easily engages with a click when the gear shift lever is in a neutral postion. I can get the gear shift lever into the R, 1, and 2 gear positions. However, the clutch will not engage with a click; I need to maintain pressure on the clutch leverl to get the tractor to only move slowly. I cannot get the gear shift lever into the higher gear positions.
Can you me with this problem?
