1970 MTD wiring problem

Don Payne sr. I have a MTD that had some wires missing when i got it. i figured out where most of them go but where the starter switch. theres 3 prongs on the back. one goes to the battery, one goes to the starter and the other one i don't know. Thanks
Jozef P Wazinski I have a '69 MTD with the same switch. The remaining lead connects to the magneto coil. If you have the model number of the tractor, go to the MTD PRODUCTS website and download the manuals. That's what i done.

Good luck!
