Hey there y'all,

Down here in Brazil today we just started pulling an old Leroi 4 cylinder engine,out of a German 2ft gauge locomotive. Model D140P3E Bore 3 1/2 and Stroke 3 5/8 Engine number is 19X1293, on the block is cast in, looks like 38-16-47. Complete all exhaust and inlet manafolds, with Generator and LeRoi Embosed Radiator from Young Radiator Company Patent #816533.
The inside of the block was filled with clear water and oil, mothballed like a boiler, don't know how the combustion chambers are with dirt. Does this set have any value or should we just scrap it as old junk. If anyone has any information that would help us out with either to sell or rebuild it, please contact me. Thanks.

Shame the cost of getting the entire loco over here to the UK would be too much.
