1946 Simplicity 700

Mike Macy	I have a ??? 1946 Simplicity 700??? Model # 1265BSIM, Mfg # 990285. It has been totally restored, I bought this from my neighbor and have had several people interested in the tractor as it is in great shape. I would like to know what this Tractor is worth. Please any info would be appreciated as I am a novice at antiquing. Thanks, Mike
bontai Joe	If the model number is correct as 700, then the oldest your tractor could be is 1959, and the model was discontinued in 1961. The model 700 was Simplicity's first 4 wheel garden tractor. With no photos, and the question marks you have on the year of manufacture and model number, it's impossible for me to even guess what your tractor is worth.

bontai Joe	If the paint looks as good in person as it does in the pics, and the seat looks new also? Tires are in good shape with no splits or checking? And if it runs as good as it looks. I'd say in my neck of the woods you have a tractor that would fetch $750 or maybe more. If you find the right buyer on the right day, you might get $1000.
