NAA Jubilee relay/solenoid
| Jim | My Jubilee is now 12v and I have ordered a new relay that specs indicate is 6v. Will it work w/o overloading? I tried two from auto parts stores and neither worked with ground side starter plunger on top of trans cover. At this time I do not want to add a positive side button or key starter. as you know with factory system tractor will not start in gear

| Jim Loveridge | Jim, Just happend to spot this today. You should be posting this on the N series forum down below the antique fourm here. You need a solonoid or relay for a late, 40's or early 50's Ford product. They were all 6 volt and positive ground. As for overloading it, I don't know. I would think that the relay winding wouldn't last as long is all. Did you install a conversiion kit? |
| Bob G | A 6 volt solenoid will work just fine.
