| Art | I have a 1955 model 640 Ford. It has lost all power and started making a screeching noise coming from the motor and acts like it is binding up and then shuts down. I am not real sure what the cause is. After futher inspection I found small ball bearings and pieces of bearing casing in the oil pan. I am not sure where that type of bearing could of came from ?? I plan to do an inframe while it is apart, but I am not sure where that ball bearing came from. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Art

| Daniel Leach | I'm not a professional when it comes to motors but I do have some experience. The only thing I can think of it might be is the crank bearings but even still. I would ask a mechanic and see what he says. Hope all goes well for ya. |
