| T GORIN | MY 706 WAS PURCHASED NEW IN 1966 BY A NEIGHBOR. WE'VE OWNED IT SINCE 1973. IT IS A McCORMICK FARMALL WITH THE 310 GERMAN DIESEL ENGINE. ACCORDING TO MY RESEARCH, THE 310 WAS NOT USED UNTIL NOVEMBER OF 1966. THE NEIFGBOR, NOW DECEASED, SAID IT WAS A "DEMONSTRATOR" AND IT HAD 30 TO 60 HOUES ON IT WHEN HE BPUGHT IT NEW FROM THE DEALER. THERE IS NO SERIAL TAG ON THE TRACTOR. MY QUESTIONS ARE: WHAT COLOR SHOULD A DEMONSTRATOR OF THAT YAER BE? WOULG THE SERIAL NUMBER BE STAMPED ON THE FRAME? IF SO, WHERE AT? WHAT EXACTLY DO I HAVE? THE DEALER IS STILL IN BUSINESS, BUT ALL THEY CAN TELL ME IS THAT "IT'S RARE" AND THEY'VE OFFERED TO BUY IT WHENECER IT'S IN FOR REPAIR. U DON'T WANT TO SELL, I'D JUST LIKEE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT IT. ANY HELP WPOULD BE GREATKY APPRECIATED!! THANKS!
