|George||I have a Ford 800 tractor with a Sherman Back Hoe
mounted on the rear. BELIEVE IT OR NOT, the Ford
motor was replaced with a 62 Jeep 4 cyl way back when.
Unfortunitely, the clutch pressure plate only
releases 2 thirds of the disk when the peddle is
depressed (maybe one pressure plate finger is broken?)
Hence, the tractor is always in gear.
I want to replace the pressure plate and disk.
Here is my question:
Do you think the flywheel is jeep or ford?
And will the pressure plate be jeep or ford?
Will the clutch disk be jeep or ford?
I believe the throw out bearing will be ford.
Thanks for any help
|Dan||I think back then the jeep may have had a ford motor. take it out they should be able to match it up. I have a 53 Case with the sherman hoe and need some seals for the cylinders do you know where I can get parts like that?
: Thanks for any help
