300 utility hydraulic failure

mike I have a 300 utility that the hydraulics quit working on, my scrape blade won't raise or lower. On this tractor the hydraulic resevoir is under the seat with one hydratouch lever on the right side of the resevoir which operates the blade. There are two lines that run forward from the front of the resevoir along the right side toward the front of the engine to what I guess is the hydraulic pump.I disconnected both of these lines and some fluid came out then stopped even though the resevoir is still full. I started the engine and put my finger up to the connections on the pump but could not feel any air movement from either side. I am wondering if my problem is in the resevour or the pump. How difficult is it to get at the screen in the resevoir ? should I have felt something on the connections to the pump ? Thanks for any help.
