|Eric Spielman||I have a 1949 A model John Deere that belonged to my Grandpa it has been sitting over 30 years and I would like to restore it.Any help on what to do to start would be great,as I am new to this. Also any one out there who would be willing to share knowledge.
|bontai Joe||First, I've never tackled a project like this, but found an interesting website that might be of help. It's the diary of a Deere model B restoration, step by step with lots of photos.
Check it out: http://www.terrystoy.com/JD-B/index.htm
|bontai Joe||I just wanted to add that this website here (SSB), is run by a company that might be able to furnish a lot of the replacement parts you might need.
