|deb||We have a 1948 John Deere B tractor 2 cylinder deisel that we need to sell but we do not have any clue how much to ask for it .My uncle used it every year fo his garden and it is in excelent condition if any one has any advice it would be appreciated .thanks
|carl||I am not aware that John Deere had a disel engine for the B series tractor in 1948.
My guess is that it is either gasoline, or someone did a conversion from a newer tractor.
|Deb||You are right it is gas. We don't really know what we have my uncle died and he has an old tractor it is a 1948 but now we found the book and it says it is a A. So who knows we are gonna have to find someone localy Akron Ohio to look at it. People are telling us all kinds of prices. so thanks for your help and making me investigate alittle bit more on it.
