just totally destructed my starter motor!! Any help on where to locate a used, new, remanufactured starter Delco Remy #1108200 2A 18 OR possible replacment #1107548

Also any help on how to set the injector timing on my diesel engine?
thanks in advance

Barry I'm getting a bendix drive assy from Sweeny Bros 612/894-9595. What is the best way to pull the starter? It looks to be on top of bell housing under fuel tank & battery. Mine just spins.

Matt I've had decent luck with Illini Construction Parts 800-352-1723 in getting all types of parts for mine. As for taking the starter out, the easiest way I've found for me is to loosen the two bolts for the foot feed line on the gas tank so you can move it slightly out of the way. Pull the starter straight back and out the side under the front loader hydraulic lever. You have to remove the hydraulic fill cap to get enough clearance but it will slide right out. It's best done with two people (my son usually helps me) as someone can stand on the other side of the tractor and feed the battery cable through for you. Hope that helps.
