WD 45 3 point
|Mark||I have a WD 45 and I do not know how to activate the 3 point hitch. Does anyone know?
|rich4||What do mean by activate? to raise the 3pt just use the lever opposite of the throttle.
|Earl||The lever has no effect on my 3-point and the PTO will not activate. What gives with that?
|Gary||With the gear box in neutral, you have to pull the hand clutch on the right side of the tractor between the transmission and the brake pedals all the way back and release the foot clutch. Then you can operate the control lever opposite the throttle on the steering column to activate the 3 point hitch. Once set to the right height you can put tractor in gear. You can also change the height of the hitch while the tractor is in motion with the foot & hand clutch engaged. I hope this helps.
