Allis Chalmers model help

i have a what i beleive is a C model ( it has a C sticker on the side of the radiator )

after looking at pictures on the web it does look like a c but the seat appears to be from a b model

the serial number is C44912 ( located on the transmission in front of the gear shift )

i beleive that the serial number for the engine is am291639 ( located on the top middle right side of engine block as if driving the tractor )

i am trying to figure out exactly what i have ( make/model/year & engine

please help

Go to tractordata.com under Allis Chalmers, it appears to be a 1947 C or a 1940 B , the B's had a curved front axle, the C's had either a narrow front or a different higher wide front. Both had similar engines.
