installation of injector pump, timing???

I have an ac5050 diesel tractor (allis chalmers) and I am having trouble keeping it running for more than 10 minutes at the max. I cleaned the fuel tank and replaced the filters and a suspect fuel line. I don't know why it keeps stalling like this. The only way to get it back to the barn is buy spraying starter fluid in the intake air to get it running. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

take the phillips screw out of the top of primary fuel pump, just below the injector pump and clean any bugs out, most likely hard-shelled black bugs. If you look close there is another screen filter in there also.

On the allis chalmers 5050 tractor is there only one fuel pump or is there two. I say this because you mentioned a primary fuel pump. I did replace a fuel pump on it last night before I sent this message. I thought it was the only one it had. Thanks again.
