|John Rhoades||I recently purchased at auction an Allis-Chalmers tractor. It was represented as a WD model. How can I tell for sure if it is in fact a WD model and what year it was produced? Thank you
|John (MO)||Check the serial number on the top of the left differential brake housing. Then compare it to the serial number listing on www.allischalmers.com A WD engine had a removable plate on the side of the block and a WD45 engine did not have this plate.
|John||I now know that I have a WD Allis. Thank you for your help.
