LX178 won't start
|Ken Hodgens||Have a LX178 and it appears that the ignition module has shot craps. 12v in and nothing out to the plugs. Is it possible to open up the ignition module and possibly repair it? $300 replacement cost is a little steep and there's currently not a used one for sale on ebay.
|rcbe||can't say that I've ever heard of anyone doing such.
But there are modules avail now on ebay http://www.ebay.com/sch/items/?_nkw=JOHN+DEERE+IGNITION+MODULE+LX172+LX176+LX178+LX188&_sacat=&_ex_kw=&_mPrRngCbx=1&_udlo=&_udhi=&_sop=12&_fpos=&_fspt=1&_sadis=&LH_CAds=&rmvSB=true just gotta know which series number your machine needs...
