control knob for lifting attachments

Dennis Allbritton I am new to operating a Kubota tractor and bought a L3450. When holing up attachments such as my tiller, when I attempt to lift it off of the ground to travel from one point to another, it does not even get off of the ground and drags. I have checked the fluid level and this seems to not be the problem. A friend told me that there was a control knob that slows or speeds up the lever and when it is real slow, the lever will not go all the way up. Can anyone help me out as I do not have any books to view.
jm. Well first of all your friend is somewhat right. The Knob below the seat does control ONL THE RATE OF LOWERING.. Nothing to do with the lifting. Sitting still with NOTHING on the rear will the lift arms come up? Answer that question first then we will move on to solving the problem.
