NAA losing primp on hydraulic pump

Rachel We have a N AA I've been working on. The hydraulics worked until we hit a rock using the back blade. Rebuilt the pump with new wobble shaft bearing and seals, the a new lift piston with seals. Found the small sliding iston stuck
Can't remember it's name
All works, but for one thing. The pump loses prime , but running the motor for a few minutes will push the air out and, then it all works fine. Looking for possible causes. Thinking it might be the wobble shaft worn
Thoughts appreciated

Jim L Hi Rachel, welcome to the forum. It sounds to me like you know a lot about the hydraulic system. Do you have the I&T FO-19 shop manual? If so, on page 35 (paragraph 115E) it addresses loss of prime problems. It's a little wordy or I would just tell you what it says. Please let us know what you find.
