Mag for D2
|Al Baldwin||I need a magneto for my D2 5J. It has an Eisemann mag on it now, and it's obsolete. Can anyone tell me what mags will fit?
|gemdozer||I have a EISEMMAN and AMERICAN BOSCH magneto for starting engine but you better use the same model
like that you will have spare parts
|Old d2||A new mag is available from Standard Magneto Co. Chicago . It is a WICO XH 1907.
|Al||I see several mags on Ebay claiming to fit D2 and D4, but they are all different. There's one that looks about right, but instead of a gear, there's a smooth, round piece with two square lugs. Any chance my gear will fit on it? It's a Wico 5M2850 7-039390. Thanks
|gemdozer||THE MAG 5M2850 IS FOR D7
|Al||Thank you. I guess I'd better pull mine so I'll know more before I do any more shopping.
