|| How do you get to the light flasher? It is located behind the console around the steering column but it doesn't seem to be split and I can't even find any screws holding it.It looks like the steering wheel has to come off but there only seems to be two 3/16 holes tapped there in the wheel .Do you use a puller on these ? I was thinking they would be too small?Any helps appreciated !!! THANKS!
You need to apply more logic and look for the screws, there are four screws going down from the top, remove the two in the half of the console nearest your knees, under the shift lever there are two more, remove the one nearest, under the turn signal the same, look for any more, only take the outer screws out as they screw into a steel plate,if the two screws from each plate is remove the plate will fall down and probably get lost through the floor, the 3/16 holes in the wheel are for a puller.drill two holes in a piece of 3/8 steel, screw the wheel retaining nut on flush, bolt the plate down evenly and hit it in the middle and that will break the taper.
||Finally got all lights working!! Bought a new flasher and the lights started working right Don't know what caused the old flasher when it burnt out to start the lights working backward in regards to the directional light switch.Oh well they are working now!Discovered that the console around the steering column snaps off.I had to take a screwdriver and pryed the bottom edge up and then was able to pry the whole bottom out and then the whole column lifted right out over the steering column. Thanks for the help ,great forum!
