I bought a Massey utility tractor a year ago with a Perkins 3 cyl. diesel. I just discovered that the hose that connects the intake to the air filter cannister was never hooked up and it's been sucking in chaff and dust (I disc and bushog 20 acres of grass/rye, etc.,for pasture and feed plots). How much damage do you think I've done to my engine? The tractor's still under warranty and I called the dealer and he said that it's a factory error and is not part of the dealer prep for a new tractor. He's going to talk to his service people and get back with me. Please advise...
