I've kept all the plastic alignment tools that come with the clutch disks. When I had to replace the rear seal on my tractor, one of the tools I had worked. No idea what the tool was from, but either a ford or chevy.
Ironically, we made several stabs at getting things alligned, then on a whim, left the tranny in gear so the shaft rotated as it went together and it worked the first time.
