wood splitters ran off small tractors have a slow cycle, plus your tractor is tied up using the splitter.
also fuel cost are going to be higher, you are going to have to run that engine fast so the hyd pump will cycle with very much speed.
I have a 8hp trailer splitter, works great, can use tractor for pulling logs or lifting large blocks of wood up onto splitter, hauling wood, etc.
Just my two cents:
from someone who owns a TO-35 and has owned and used a spliitter for over 20 years.
