So my cousin and I have been working on our 1962 MF 165 tractor. Somehow the shaft on the power steering pump bent and stripped out all of the teeth on the idler gears. So we have replaced the pump and idler gears and retimed the tractor and put it back together. However, now when we crack the engine air is being sucked into the exhaust and blown out the intake. Anyone have any ideas why this might be happening? We asked our local mechanic and he didnt have a clue. Thanks
