If you get the I&T shop manual MF-201 it will show you how to adjust and repair them. Working on the brakes on that machine doesn't require a lot of mechanical knowledge but because they are inside the axles it is a very labor intensive job. Once you get them apart you may find that they are worn out or that one of the seals has leaked and oil soaked them.
