I have a MF 30 ind. (basically an industrial 165) and I just ran into that problem. If you remove the pump from the tractor (3 bolts and the PS lines) you can then remove the drive sprocket by removing the c-clip. On mine the seal was so worn that it took very little effort to remove. From a Massey dealer I got a new seal for $10 (cad). Lube up the seal, replace it and put everything back together. One of the cheapest PS fixes that I have done! I didn't feel like changing the engine crankcase oil again so I just drained out the litre of so that came from the PS and put the plug back in.
