I have an early 1085 with stripped splines on shaft and pressure plate. This unit has 10 splines (non-Multipower). Later models went to 25 splines and were much more durable. Does anyone know if the 25 spline shaft and pressure plate are directly interchangable with the 10 spline?. I would like to install updated parts if possible. I have called several MF dealers with no no luck.
