In Reply to: How do I stop leaks and replace belt? posted by Chris the clock man on Sunday, January 06, 2008:
sir i would not recomend any seal sweller of any kind . if you have leaks in the cylinders remove them and have a hydrolic shop repair them you will be happier long term . the swellers could damage your hydrolic system in the tractor , causing problems in new places . belt---- i am assumning a shaft is bolted to the front pulley. a hydrolic accessory pump is being driven by that shaft . there are two types of mounting first the most common require the pump to be removed and the three or four bolts removed from the pulley . the rare only the bolts have to be removed and the shaft and mounting flange will slide away from the front pulley .hope this helps
