This is probably a dumb question but I have to remove the CAV fuel filter housing (not just the glass bowl) because I stripped the bleeder bolt. I have the new piece but cannot get the fuel lines out of the old housing no matter how much I pull. Is it friction or is there a catch/notch/flaring/crimping that occurs when the lines are first put in?
The lines look original to the tractor (MF 165 from late 60s) so I don't want to pull too hard or I will have a bigger job than i already do!
Thanks, Andrew
