Hi, if the starter turns over, that's not your problem! do you have a volt meter? with the switch turn on there should be voltave on the batt. terminal of the coil, if not that could be your problem, if there is voltage on the coil you may have points that are not adjusted properly, if the points open and close during cranking but no fire, some times ther is gunk preventing the contacts to touch, you can some times take a pair of plyers and short across the contacs and the coil will fire, the safety switch is on top of the housing in front of the gear shift
