I don't have the manual on this and am going on foggy memory, if you have the lower thrust bearing and retainer installed correctly and there's not excessive wear on the ball block does yours have the adjusting nuts below the woodruff key on a tapered bearing at the top of the column or shims under the column mount. I think there is also adjustment on the right side of the steering sector arm for minor adjustment of lateral play. Hopefully someone else will jump in here with some info. ??
