I have an old Industrial MF 202, 4-cylinder, gas, 3 speed with high/low gears. Went to back up and it felt like something let go in the transmission. Lost reserve gear. The shift lever jumps out of gear when the clutch is released. If I ride the clutch and its on level ground or down hill, I can almost hold it in gear. However, under any kind of power, it just jumps out of gear. All high & low forward gears are fine. Does anyone have an idea on what let go???
Also, I have a concrete counter weight on the back for snowplowing, which way would you split the tractor? Remove engine than the trans or split between the trans and rear axle than remove the trans?
Thanks - Randy
