There is a sensor that was faulty on mine. I pulled the sensor off and it worked fine. I dont recommend this, but this is where I found the sensor. Lift the hood and look down inside below the back of the gauges close to the battery you should find a black sensor box approximately 1 1/2" x 1 1/2". Mine was hanging loose but had a flange for a bolt. Yours may be mounted to the frame. It has 3 wires running into it, 2 black, 1 red, and a black jump wire between 2 terminals. After pulling this sensor out, mine worked fine. Hope this helps, Rino
