Purchased my 155 rider this March 2004 for $3088. I’ve used it 3 times and I’m very impressed. So far I’ve cut mowing time ½ hour due to the excellent turning radius and front mounted deck, which is why I bought it in the first place. It can cut where the old Craftsmen tractor could not, under pine trees and around the fire hydrant.
The ride is a little rougher than a typical belly mower. Hydrostat transmission is smooth front and backwards. Turning radius excellent. The bio-clip deck is excellent and as advertised. Overall I would rate the 155 rider as excellent and has exceeded my expectations. Awesome lawn mower, not your typical tractor. Price is a little high but you always pay a little more for superior quality and performance.
